Welkom bij van den Akker bestratingen

Het was in de loop van 1967 dat de gebroeders Gerrit, Toon en Peter van den Akker  het plan oppakten om een eigen bedrijf op te richten. Gerrit was in eerste instantie chauffeur  en later uitvoerder, Toon en Peter stratenmakers bij Aannemersbedrijf Fa.  Clement  in dienst.

Toon en Peter bleken bovengemiddelde vakmannen te zijn en heel gemakkelijk hun meters te maken, toen de tijd nog weg te tikken, met het hamertje. Gerrit kon als uitvoerder een beetje aan de prijzen ruiken en had al snel door dat de broertjes de centjes makkelijk bij elkaar verdienden. Weliswaar met hard werken.

Tijdens de wekelijkse koffie op zondagmorgen bij opa en oma van den Akker, aan de Nieuwendijk te Rosmalen, werd besloten een nummer aan te vragen bij de Kamer van Koophandel, en op 31 juli 1968 zich als Gebr. Van den Akker te vestigen als stratenmakersbedrijf. Lees meer >>
